

Kathleen Peace Hoban, 93, of Raytown, Missouri, died peacefully on Friday, October 19, 2012, at Seasons Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Redemptorist Fathers-Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, where the rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m.
Kathleen was born on November 11, 1918, in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri to William and Lena (Oberle) Callier. She was a Navy Wave in WWII, stationed in California and became an obstetrics nurse. She enjoyed sewing, tennis, walking and cooking. Kathleen married Joseph Hoban in 1947, and he preceded her in death in 2000. Kathleen's survivors include her children, Cynthia J. Just (Ed), Wichita, KS, Gary J. Hoban (Micky), Kansas City, Michael J. Hoban, Kansas City, Joseph Hoban, Raytown, and Therese Collins (David), Grandview, MO; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice and Season Care Center staffs for the love and care given to Kathleen in her last months.
