Kathleen Anne Kelley-Maher

Kathleen, or KK as she was affectionately called, was a waitress at Strouds Restaurant for 25+ years. She always had stories and updates on her favorite regular customers. She loved the people who worked there, especially the ones at the old 85th Street location. KK also loved her dog Harry. She enjoyed hosting family dinners during the holidays. Most of all, she loved her family; Dennis, Christin, Luis, Denny, and Kelley and the grandchildren. We will miss her greatly.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Phil and Anna Kelley, brother Michael Kelley, and brother-in-law Thomas Bick. She is survived by her husband Dennis Maher; children Christin Rivera, and Luis Rivera (Anya); step children Dennis Maher Jr. (Tara), and Kelley Gentry (Brad); and grandchildren Victor, Dominic, Aiden and Nolan.

Other survivors include brothers: Daniel, Tim (DeeAnne), Patrick (Yolanda), Phil (Leslie), Matthew; sisters: Susan Bick and Mary Baltis (David).

A visitation will be held 4 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at McGilley Memorial Chapel, 12301 State Line Road. There will be a private service (family only) on Monday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers those who wish consider a donation to KC Hospice or a charity of their own choice.
