KATHRYN P. “KAY” HARRIS Kathryn P. “Kay” Harris, 79, passed away Sept. 8, 2015. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Monday, Sept. 14, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Shawnee with funeral services beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Mt. Muncie Cemetery, Lansing, KS. Kay lived in the K.C. area most of her life. She worked at TWA as a flight statistics accountant for over 25+ years. She loved to bowl, play cards, fish, travel and was very creative in all craft projects. Most of all, Kay loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. She married the love of her life, Earl Harris, Sr. and enjoyed 60 years of marriage. Together they will celebrate their 61st in Heaven. Their love was the kind of unconditional love everyone hopes for. Kay was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, 2 grandsons, Jeremy W. Giebler and Chris Bearden. Survivors include her dog, Jackie Lynn; a son, Earl Harris, Jr.; 3 daughters, Debbie Bearden (Don), Barbara Giebler and Nora Harris; a brother in law, Ted Farris; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
