Kenny dedicated 34 years of his career to what is now known as AT&T (Lucent), where he earned the respect and admiration of many. He was an active member of the Lucent Pioneer Club, the 2 Cylinder Club of Greater Kansas City, and a proud Hog Member of the Central Division. His work ethic, sense of community, and dedication to his passions defined the legacy he leaves behind.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Francis Brazeel (1902-1994) and Ruth Byrl Brazeel (1909-1998), and brothers, William F. Brazeel and John L. Brazeel, as well as his sister-in-law, Zelma Brazeel and son-in-law Jim Litle.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Janice Brazeel, whom he married on February 26, 1979. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Thelma Brazeel, and his beloved children: Mark (Kelly) Brazeel, Kevin (Debbie) LaVelle, Kelly Litle, and Keenan LaVelle. Kenny was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren and great-grandfather to 13 great-grandchildren. He cherished spending time with his family, particularly his grandkids and great-grandkids, who brought him immeasurable joy. Kenny’s hobbies and passions were a significant part of his life. He loved fishing, gardening, attending tractor pulls, and enjoying off-road adventures in his jeep. He and Janice spent countless hours RVing and traveling together. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him – his family, friends, and fellow club members – and will forever be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and love of life.
