Kenneth W Morris

Kenneth Wayne Morris, Sr., 79, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 18th at 12:00 pm, at Floral Hills Funeral Home with visitation starting at 11 am. Kenneth was born on January 26, 1935 in Kansas City, MO. He was a long-time member of the Golden Gloves as a boxer and a referee. He was a K.C. firefighter. He owned Kenny's Newsroom on Broadway for 13 years. The last 10+ years he worked for Superior Automall and won several awards for selling cars. Kenneth was an inactive member of Ararat Shrine, Masons & Eastern Star. He gained numerous friends in his 79 years of life. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd & Frieda Morris & sister, Gloria Morris. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Glenna Morris, 1 son Kenny Morris, Jr. (Carol), 5 daughters: Linda Cessor (Michael), Cathy Morris Watson, Julie Cassmeyer (Randy), Jackie Aguilar, Jill Cammisano (Tony), their mother, Joann Tuohey Perdaris, 1 step-daughter, Cheryl McMullen (Bob), 1 step-son Jeff Drayer (Terri), 14 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
