Kenneth O. Smith, 85, Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away August 19, 2012 at Kansas City Hospice House. There will be no services at this time. Per Mr. Smith’s request an anatomical donation was made to KU Medical Center. Mr. Smith was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a graduate of Central High School and UMKC with a Juris Doctorate. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Marines, serving during World War II. He was a partner in a local law firm. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons Stephen and Mitchell Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 64 years Marjorie Sue (Wright) Smith of the home; son Bradley Smith and his wife Robyn of Prairie Village, Kansas; four grandsons, one great-granddaughter, extended family and friends.
