Kimberly Yvette Carmichael

Kim was a fun-loving character who always had a good word to say about everybody. She always said 'if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all.' She always had time for her family, and loving her kids, and grandkids. She would welcome you in, pop on criminal shows, and Greys Anatomy. You always felt loved after spending time with Kim.

Kimberly passed away on May 12th, 2023, at the age of 58. She was born August 13, 1964, to Paula and Benjamin Sommers. Kim was Paula's little 'Treasurer'. She was a loving, and kind child and loved playing with her best friend and brother Sean. Kim grew up in Arkansas for the first half of her life, and Independence Missouri for the second part of her life with here with her parents and brother.

Kim was a Christian, and always loved to watch football with the family. She loved to listen to music, and sing along. In 1985 Kim met, and fell in love with David, and they were married in their home in Independence. Kim and David had four beautiful kids Kristan, Patrick, Hailey, and Ashley. Kim took pride in raising her kids, and always made sure they had a great life or new clothes. After raising her kids Kim spent her days visiting with friends, and spending time with her kids and grandkids, which she loved more than life itself.

Kim is survived by her mother Paula Sommers, her kids Kristan, Patrick, Hailey, and Ashley; her grandkids RaeLynn, Lanie, Jeter, and her brother Sean Sommers and his family.
