Laura was such a selfless, caring and optimistic Angel who will be missed by many. I feel blessed to have spent  time and broken bread with such a dear friend. RIP Laura.

David, Joe, Andi & Maddie, sorry for your loss. This saddens me. Your mom was one of the most thoughtful, kindest & caring human beings I've ever known. She made it to heaven for sure. Hope I make it there too so I can see her again.

I made a promise to Laura Pickett when we were 16yrs old which ever one of us went first the other one had to stand up and tell a funny story at our funeral, (I hope everyone's is okay with this I promised her) we talked about this over the years too, here goes Laura I'm telling the one that made us do the promise:  it was a Friday night and we had a double date so after school we went to Laura's house to do our makeup and curl our hair, Mrs Pickett ask Laura and I to go to the store for her and of course we did not want to because of our dates, so after her telling us if we did not go we were grounded we went. Me having a drivers license and Laura had her permit we took Mr Pickett's car, we were in a big hurry we had a wreck and we did get cut up and bloody but we were more afraid of what our parents would say. If any of your remember this story we did not get in trouble and we still had our double date. We had so much fun that weekend. Laura I kept my promise. I am sorry beyond words at the loss of Laura. We were childhood friends and I'm so thankful we reconnected in time for me to know a bit about the grown-up girl I was so fond of. I know she was a very special person to many people and will be missed by everyone that knew her.

The clouds opened up and took you home. The pain is gone and the Lord has taken you to a place where our loved who have passed were waiting for you. I still can't believe your gone. I have so many good memories and will never forget how we met. The world has lost a friend and so have I. I will carry your memory with those who were left behind.
