Laura Cecilia Ryan, 91, Kansas City, MO, went to be with our Lord on June 24, 2014 at NorthCare Hospice. She was a devoted Catholic and loved by all. The Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 AM Friday, June 27th at St Patrick Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42nd Terrace, where visitation begins at 9:00 AM with Rosary prior to Mass; burial in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to NorthCare Hospice or Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, Clyde, MO.
Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; parents, Raymond and Laura Thompson; 3 brothers, Michael, Gregory and Lawrence Thompson; and 2 sisters, Joan Flynn and Rita Thompson.
Survivors include daughter, Rita (Phil) Ryan-Stephenson; 4 grandsons and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Sr. Mary Paula Thompson, OSB; brother, David Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
