Leroy R. Hughes, 93, of Raytown, MO, passed away April 8, 2015. Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 13th at 10:00 am at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Leroy was an Army veteran of WWII. He resided in Raytown for 57 years. He retired from General Motors as Head Time Keeper after 37 years. Leroy was also a licensed hair stylist at Emery Bird Thayer & Harzfelds. He was an accomplished Square Dancer with the Bootneers and also in Ballroom dancing. Leroy was preceded in death by his wife Charlene Hughes & 2 infant sons. He is survived by 2 daughters Gloria Starner (Pat) & Joyce Farnham, 2 sons Robert Hughes (Mary) & Jerry Hughes (Bev), 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren & 4 great great grandchildren.
