Lillian F. Davenport, 88, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Entombment in Garden of Faith Mausoleum in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100, Kansas City, Missouri 64114. Mrs. Davenport was born March 23, 1922 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Bud and Anna Mae (Williams) Reece. She was married for 60 years to James E. Davenport who preceded her in death. She worked for years at the Landing, for Macy’s, and then Dillard’s as cashier. Lillian was a lifelong member of Blenheim Assembly of God, which became Loma Vista Assembly of God. She is survived by two sons Jim (Marian) Davenport and Tom (Teressa) Davenport, daughter Sue (Randall Duane) Dawson, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
