Linda was a cherished member of the Davis Family. Born to Cecil and Marjorie Davis on August 30,1951 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. Sister to Larry (Patty) Davis June 28,1954.
On May 1,1971 Linda married the love of her life, Richard Wakeman, in a beautiful ceremony marking the beginning of a life filled with true love and devotion. Linda and Richard went on to have two beautiful daughters, Tina (Heather) Kidd and Michelle (Luke) Haney and the light of Linda's eye, her three amazing grandsons Chase, Carter and Parker.
Linda loved spending her days shopping and traveling with her girlfriends, singing her favorite Elvis songs and cheering on her Chiefs, but her favorite days were spent with family. A quiet day spent at home with her husband, days spent doing things with her girls or making up fun and exciting games with her grandsons.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Marjorie and her brother Larry Davis. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband Richard, her beautiful girls and three handsome grandsons.
Linda will always be remembered as Richard's devoted sweetheart, a loving mother and memaw and an amazing friend. She will be profoundly missed , but her spirit with continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know and love her.

A graveside service for Mrs. Linda Wakeman will take place Friday, June 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens, 25203 E 50 Hwy, Lee's Summit, Missouri, 64086.
