Lois E. Potts, 85, of Merriam, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, at Shawnee United Methodist Church, 10700 Johnson Drive, Shawnee Mission, Kansas 66203. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road., Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Mrs. Potts was born August 1, 1925 in Louisburg, Kansas, daughter of Floyd and Tillie (Niedermaier) Redenbaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil W. Potts and her sister Barbara Gibbons. Mrs. Potts is survived by her son Larry Potts and wife Barb; daughter Carol Beth Nash; sisters Marie McGhee and Jeanne Wallace; and brothers Earl Redenbaugh and wife Mary, Tom Redenbaugh and wife June, Ralph Redenbaugh and wife Kathy, and Jim Redenbaugh and wife Darlene.
