Lorna Gayle Jones Wineland, 90, of Kansas City, Mo passed away March 11, 2012. Memorial services are 2:00 pm Friday March 16th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Odyssey Hospice Foundation.
Lorna was born in St. Joseph, Mo on January 23, 1922. She worked at Union Finance for 10 years, and the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW for 15 years as a bookkeeper and retired from there. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church since 1980, St. Luke's Auxiliary, and life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Wineland. Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Robert) Wehmueller, son, Clayton Wineland, Jr, sister, Jeannine (Richard) Hinkle, grandchildren, Kathleen (Lenny) Pittala, James Wehmueller, Daniel (Alissa) Wehmueller, and great grandchildren, Leo and Henry.
