Lou Ryan, 53, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away, April 18, 2011 at North Kansas City Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, April 22, 2011 at McGilley-Antioch Chapel, burial in Mt Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the Chapel. She was born on July 5, 1957 in Greencastle, Indiana. Lou was a 1975 graduate of South Putman High School, Greencastle, Indiana. She graduated in 2005 from Penn Valley Community College, Kansas City, MO with a BS in Nursing. She was employed by the North Kansas City Hospital, Kansas City, MO where she was a registered nurse. She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Jay and Dorothy Land Plessinger, a brother, Harold Plessinger, and a sister, Jill Plessinger. She is survived by: Husband, Charles Ryan, Excelsior Springs, MO, a daughter, Kimberly McCord/Jason, Gladstone, MO, Step sons, Charles Ryan, Jr., Chris Ryan, Jeff Ryan, and Jason Ryan, granddaughter, Kelsey McCord, two sisters, Carol Newlin, Bethesda, MD and Barbara Parker, Richardson, TX, one brother, William Plessinger, Thornville, OH.
