Louis Earl Kunzweiler

Louis E. Kunzweiler 78, was born September 19, 1943, and passed away October 23, 2021, at his residence in Independence Mo. He graduated from Raytown High School and went on to serve in the United States Air Force. He was employed by Bayer Corporation’s Agriculture Division for over 30 years before retiring.

On June 27, 1975, Lou married Rebecca Ann Wallsmith who preceded him in death, others who preceded him were his parents Louis C Kunzweiler and Elizabeth B. Branscum-Kunzweiler, an infant sister Patricia Kunzweiler, a brother David Michael Kunzweiler and a sister Deanna Kunzweiler.

Survivors include a sister Dorlis Lyle, his former sister-in-law Martha Wallsmith numerous nieces and nephews and his caregiver for the last 7 years Teresa Henry.

Lou loved spending time at his farm near Edwards Mo, constantly manicuring the fields and pond around the house. He enjoyed spending time out on Lake of the Ozarks, Truman Lake and Pomme de Terre Lake, often fishing all three in the same day looking for just the right spot where the fish were biting. He was always willing to lend a hand to help others with outdoor projects like helping roof a house or build a deck or any other home remodeling project.

The family will greet friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am Friday October 29, 2021, followed by funeral services with military honors at 11:00 am at D.W. Newcomer’s Floral Hills 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd Kansas City MO 64133.
