Born August 8, 1928 to Freeman and Ethel Green in Sylvia, KS, she was the youngest of four children. She married Edgar McRill, Jr., in 1952 and had five children. She enjoyed helping and taking care of others. Louise loved watching and listening to the Royals and KU basketball. She could tell you if they won or lost and the reasons why. All you had to do was ask her. Maybe from heaven she can help them more! Louise married Marvin Miller in 1972 and had 30 years together living in Kansas City, KS. They loved to travel in their camper and see other states while visiting others. They had the best vegetable gardens and many others were able to share in their bounty. With the passing of Marvin in 2003, she moved to Englewood Vista community, Gladstone, MO, where she had many friends and enjoyed all they did together from early group trips to other places to playing cards, bingo and Wii bowling. She also loved doing puzzles and making quilts for family and friends.
Surviving are her five children, Sharon Jane Young (Carl Wayne), Green Forest, AR, Tom McRill (Lynn) Platte City, MO, Diana Flowers (John), Gladstone, MO, Susan McRill (Keith Goodman), Randolph, MO, and David McRill, Albuquerque, NM. Louise was also blessed with eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandkids.
Louise was a ten year cancer survivor and even with several hospital stays in the last few years was doing very well and had a great summer this year. She enjoyed her visits to her children’s houses where she could spend time outside and visit with their pets. We have all been blessed to have had her in our lives for many years. We all have our special memories of her and will never forget her. She will live in our hearts forever.
