Lyla May Marsh 96 of Liberty Missouri passed away Sunday September 4, 2016 surrounded and comforted by her daughters and family. Lyla was born May 6th 1920 in Kansas City Missouri. Lyla was a lifelong resident of the area living in Liberty Missouri for the past 60 years. Lyla is preceded in death by the love of her life; husband Ted Marsh and daughter Susie Marsh. Lyla enjoyed her early adulthood as a homemaker raising 4 lovely daughters; Susie Marsh, Bobbi Holt, Teddie Miles, and Becky Byrd. Her daughters would eventually provide Lyla and her husband Ted nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren. Lyla enjoyed spending time with her family and her hobbies which included Crochet, Painting, Reading and Square Dancing with the Ramblers. Lyla and Ted enjoyed the outdoors and traveled a great deal both near and far, having the opportunity to camp and make new friendships with other nature lovers throughout the country. Lyla will be missed dearly by her family consoled only by the comfort that Lyla is now, by the grace of God rejoined with her beloved Ted. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 8 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd. KCMO 64131
