Lynn's Family

Lynn I'm so very sad and sorry we lost touch over the years. I miss you as one of my very best friends. We had a knack for causing and finding trouble growing up together! School, on the streets and many days at the lake. Lynn would pack to go to the lake using a Safeway grocery paper bag! That brings lots of great memories.
My friend I wish I knew as I have been battling Colon Cancer the last few years and lucky enough to beat it so far. I wish I would have been there for you. I'm sorry, rest and know you have always been a best friend even in my absence.
Mary please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mary Stone,  Lynn and I met in  junior high and went through high school together. I was SOO happy to reconnect on Facebook. Lynn was such a kind and even funny young man and I'm glad he kept that awesome personality.

   Life has so many unexpected moments. Your loss of Lynn came quickly and for that, I send you my hugs of friendship. I honestly didn’t know Lynn but have learned of his positive and fun- loving attitude toward life from your posts and from those who knew him well, leaving messages and memories here. Mary, let all the wonderful memories of your times with Lynn carry you through the many days ahead. Your Sisters of Song are here for you. We love you, Mary.  Blessings and love from Cheryl & me.

I could not tell you the exact day or time, but we were just finishing up a small rehearsal at Mary and Lynn's home. I ended up staying over for a few hours just chatting and laughing and having a great time. We talked about serious things, like medical issues in the past, up to fun things like alcohol and music! It was the first time that I really sat down with Lynn and had a good conversation! 

Even though I wasn't in the KC flute choir for long due to work changes, that night spent with Lynn and Mary will always be in my heart for how I was welcomed and treated as one of their own. I felt so loved and comfortable which is normally not the case on first time visits! Big hugs to the whole family to celebrate the life of someone who was bursting with love and kindness for others.

Mary and family: so sorry for the loss of Lynn. This is a memory from the past that I’m not sure what you know about. Lynn built my motors and did all the technical work on the 00 Racing car. We raced together for several years. He was the best. Never had problems when Lynn did it, never had to follow  check his work. A couple of Stoneisms. “If you can’t run with the big dogs, , stay under the porch”.  “How fast do you want to go,, how much money do you have?”.
