Funeral services are 10:00 AM Friday, January 8th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where a visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, MO. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
Margaret was born March 12, 1935 to George W. and Susie (Wood) DeLay in Bell City, MO. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and five siblings. Throughout her life Margaret enjoyed crocheting and crafts.
Survivors include her sister, Dorothy Littlejohn of Blue Springs, MO; two children, Taina Shields and husband, Bob, of Grove, OK, and Dennis (Denny) Harris and wife, Jeanie, of Kansas City; 4 grandchildren, Jake, Sarah, Hannah, and Emily; 5 great-grandchildren, Harper, Warren, Ellis, Owen and Kendall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
