Marjorie Ann Cain

Marjorie Ann Cain, 86, Kansas City, MO left to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her home on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 with her loving family and friends by her side. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, November 17th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, burial in White Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will be from 1:30-3:00 PM Saturday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Contributions are suggested to Liberty Hospital Hospice.

Marjorie was born May 7, 1926 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Edgar and Rose Stone. She attended North Kansas City High School and was a lifelong northland resident. She was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church. Marjorie devoted her life to taking care of her children and family. She enjoyed spending time watching her children and grandchildren participate in all activities. Marjorie had an incredible love for animals and all her pets, which she passed on to family and friends. Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving son, David Lynn Cain in 1977 as well as her mother and father, Rose and Edgar Stone.

Survivors include her wonderful husband of 68 years, Floyd Cain, Jr; sister, Norma Deere; daughter, Judy Gorham; and sons, Benny Cain, Steve Cain and Jeff Cain; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and her dearly beloved pet dachsund, Mattie.
