Marjory Ellen Moree, 78, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Jan.28, 2016 in Lee's Summit, MO. Funeral service will be Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 3736 Lee's Summit Rd, Independence, MO and burial in MT. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church.
She was born in Linn Co., KS on Dec. 5, 1937 and attended high school in Parker, KS. Marjory was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. She retired from the Allstate Insurance Co. after 35 years of service as a company executive. Her career took her to California, Texas, Chicago, Mississippi and Kansas. In her spare time she enjoyed skiing, traveling with friends in her youth. After retirement she enjoyed sewing, reading, and watching Jeopardy. Marjory is preceded in death by her parents, Zelma and Russell and one sibling, Roy Wilcox. She is survived by her daughter, two grandsons, and two brothers.
