My dearest Martha, just seems like yesterday when you were asking me to bring something you craved!  Food.  Lately, I have been closer to you both, with my issues.  I know you and Michael were both there with me, thank you both.  I know now of the poking and prodding, drawing of blood.  Please continue to watch over us all, thank you for being my best friend, lover, mother of my children.  I just wish you didn't have to suffer so much with your illness.  I will see you and Michael and the rest of the family one day.  The hardest thing is having to stick to diet!  Because I love food as you did.  Until we meet again, continue to help watch over Nicole, Justin, Cristina and Bella for now.  I love you, John

Hi mama...it's hard to believe it's almost been a whole year since you've been gone.  It doesn't seem possible.  As much as it hurts and I wish you were here, I also know your place is with Michael right now.  I miss you both each day as does Bella.  She still cries for you both-usually it's when she's trying to get out of trouble but I know she genuinely misses you two :)  I know you watch over us and I feel safe knowing that I have two very special guardian angels watching over us every day.  I miss our talks, watching movies, going shopping and just being together in the same space.  But I know you were in pain and pretty miserable towards the end and I know you can finally rest and be at peace.  Please keep watching over us and I'll see you when it's my turn. Hey Mom,
Of course I think about you a lot but have missed you much this trip. I remember all the plans we were making¦ to go to another taping of The Talk, visit places in Michael's memory on my birthday & Vegas again! I've missed you as my travel buddy. I've been lucky you were always up to see new things and even when you were sick, never slowed down. I'll never forget you in Vegas with a cigarette in one hand, playing slots with the other and your Margarita at your side - till 3am in your wheelchair. You are too funny:) I've always looked forward to knowing we'd have time together on our next trip (it seems we always had one in the works) and seeing the world with you. I'll miss hearing how excited you'd get with your travel countdowns, you clipping places from the newspaper and writing down tourist spots/food finds I'd never heard of or had always wanted to try. You made our adventures memorable and fun. Thanks Mama, not only for our travel times but for supporting and encouraging my life outside of home. Anytime I've moved you've simply said, "Just another place to visit." I'll visit you again when it's meant to be, until then, I know Michael's gotcha. Love you always, miss you both so much.

Good-Bye dear friend of mine. I don't remember my life without you in it, but I am blessed with so many memories of times spent together. Our last day together will be my fondest as you gave me a special Angel to remember you by. I miss you every day and hope we will be together again someday. Thank you for the 42 years of love and friendship.

I'm so sorry to hear of Martha passing but she is in a better place and not in pain anymore. Martha went to grade school with my brother Tim and I went to school with Martha at STA. She was a great person and always gave me a ride home from STA when she could.

My dearest Sis, We had a lot of fun over the years, I will dearly miss you from mine and my boys life. All the holidays, all the food I cooked for you even thought you probably shouldn't had it. It was great to know you loved my cooking. Go join your son, mom & dad, and my dad also... Reality hasn't hit me yet, that your gone.
