Mary Edna Shackelford, 89, of Kansas City, Mo passed away May 16, 2012. Funeral services are 11:00 am Saturday May 19th at Platte Woods United Methodist Church, 7310 NW Prairie View Rd. Visitation will precede services 10:00 - 11:00 am. Burial in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice.
Mary Edna was a former member of Lawson United Methodist Church and present member at Platte Woods United Methodist Church. She truly enjoyed her family and painting fine china. Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Ralph Shackelford, cousin, Irma Jean Akers, and a very large loving and caring family.
