Mrs. Kartsonis was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Kansas City and past president of the church Philoptochos Society. She was also president of the Women’s City Club, president of the Cardiac Center Auxiliary of Children’s Mercy Hospital and president of the Women’s Committee of the UMKC Conservatory of Music & Dance. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kartsonis.
She leaves a son, Dr. Louis P. Kartsonis of San Diego; and two sisters, Catherine Stupas of Overland Park and Connie Sogas of Newport Beach, California.
Services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 7 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 12001 Wornall Road; burial in Calvary Cemetery. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 pm Friday, February 6 at the church where friends may visit from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The family requests no flowers and suggests memorial donations to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 12001 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64145.
