Mary Salas, 84 of KCMO, passed away Dec. 21, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be noon on Monday, Dec. 29 at Sacred Heart Church, 2544 Madison Ave, KCMO 64108, followed by interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1150 N. 38th, KCKS. Visitation will be 5-8 pm on Sunday, Dec. 28th at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Mary was born on Dec. 26th 1929. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus; daughter, Jessica; son, Mark Salas; parents, Antonio and Juana Ceceña. She is survived by sons, Daniel (Natalie) and Michael Salas; daughter, Loretta (John) Amayo; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and other family. Mary was a very avid KU Jayhawk fan (ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK) and a loyal KC Royals fan.
