

Mary was born in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of William and Nora Walker. She was baptized at a young age in the Baptist Church.
After graduating she moved to Kansas City, Missouri to start life in the big city with two of her friends from Springfield. They shared a small apartment and had quite the good times. On one of those good times a handsome young blond man approached Mary and asked for a date. Pretty soon young Clinton decided she was the love of his life. They were married on March 13, 1943. They began there life together working hard to live and save for the home they wished to have someday. Sometimes it was hard to make ends meet but they wouldn't give up. With perseverance and faith they succeeded in having everything they needed. They started a family and had 3 daughters. Clinton Shaw preceded her in death on May 21, 2000.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Sally Andes, Nancy Hughes and Kathy Zeysing. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Mary was a loving, kind, good mother, wonderful cook and homemaker but also brought the fun to all our lives. She always had a mischievous expression that always brought a smile. She was loved by many and brought kindness to all. She will be missed. Those who knew her were blessed.
