Mary Virginia Stempel 85, of Harrisonville, MO, passed away peacefully in the care of St. Luke’s Hospice House of Kansas City, MO on June 10th, 2021. Mary was born in Clayton, Oklahoma to the parents of James Henry Wadley and Zora Leloa Wadley, on October 23rd, 1935. Throughout the years Mary owned a handful of restaurants. Besides being a place of delicious food, she was able to hold family gatherings and employ family members, which helped instill a long line of great work ethic within her business. It was hard work but she secretly enjoyed it.
Mary is survived by her brother James Wadley and sister Faye Adams, 7 grandchildren; Chad Williams, Stacey Liberty (Tim), Spurgeon Williams (Megan), David Razo (Jeannie), Timothy Razo (Stephanie), Jamie and Amy Young and 11 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents, husbands Sprugeon I. Williams and Loren Stempel, brothers, Jackie and Jimmy Wadley, sisters, Helen Green and Lou Wackerman, sons Billy E. Williams and Sprugeon Williams Jr., daughters Mary Ellen Young and Tammy D. Razo.
