Mary S. "Pettijohn" Stites, 86, of Kansas City, MO passed away September 9, 2011. Funeral services are 2:00 pm Monday September 12th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, with visitation 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Burial in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Mary was a member of Spirit of Hope Church, and the church's Mickey Mouse Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Stites, and granddaughter, Lisa Renee Moore. Survivors include her children, Jim Pettijohn, Pam Summers, Sandy Rowe, and husband, Wally, Ted Pettijohn, Sherry Jefferson, 12 grandchildren, Mike, Shelly, Adel, Richard, Tammy, Janese, Ricky, Christopher, Jon, Matthew, Jenny, James and numerous great grandchildren.
