Michael Scott Gallup, 50, passed away January 2, 2017. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Thursday, Jan. 5 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers his family requests contributions to the Univ. of Kansas Hospital, Bone Marrow Transplant Center. Michael was born to William R., Sr. and Nancy Gallup and had lived in this area most of his life. He worked as a lead customer service representative for Continental/United Airlines for 25 years. Michael was preceded in death by his father and a brother, William R. Gallup, Jr. Survivors include his mother, Nancy Gallup; a sister, Connie Ryan and her husband Todd Kleban; a brother, Donald Gallup and his husband, Mel Thomas; two nieces, Cherry Ryan and Caresse Ryan; two nephews, William (Billy) Gallup, III and Tyler Kleban and his wife Rachel Kleban and many family, friends and coworkers.
