Michael Anthony Kirk

Michael Anthony Kirk, 61, passed away peacefully at his home in Gladstone, MO., on August 27th, 2017. Michael was born July 26, 1956, in Kansas City, MO. Michael was raised in the Northland area and graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1974. In August of 1980, Michael began his long career at TNEMEC Company, Inc. Michael worked his way up to Sr. Technical Service Rep. trouble shooting product installation issues. He was on the frontier of new technology introductions in the coatings industry. He will be missed and appreciated by everyone associated at TNEMEC.

Michael loved boating and spent many weekends with his family including his nieces and nephews at the Lake of the Ozarks. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Patricia Kirk of Kansas City, MO. Michael leaves behind, his brothers, Stephen (Chris) Kirk, Overland Park, KS and Timothy (Janet) Kirk, North Kansas City, MO and his sister, Paula Kirk (Dene) Lambkin, Las Vegas, NV. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. We will always cherish the memories he gave us!

Visitation will be at 10:00 am, followed by a Rosary at 10:45 am with Mass starting at 11:00 am, Sat. Oct 7th, 2017, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 7207 NW Highway 9, Kansas City, MO 64152. A reception and luncheon will follow Mass in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to St. Patrick Catholic Grade School, 1401 NE 42nd Terrace, Kansas City, MO, 64116.
