He grew up in Overland Park, KS where he shared his talent and love for trumpet at Shawnee Mission East. He pursued a musical degree at UMKC, changed routes to business. He then decided to take on an early morning newspaper route. Followed by helping many families get their children to school through his cab service. He passed away Saturday December 21, 2024 in Kansas City, Missouri.
He is survived by his Mother Judy May, older brothers John and Bill May, and his older sisters Kathleen Matney and Jinny Max. His visitation will be held saturday December 28, 2024 at 10 AM at the McGilley funeral home on State Line. Followed with a short service at noon at Mt. Olivet cemetery
