Michael Davis Shannon, 35, Kansas City, Missouri, died April 15, 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Loving son of Lindsay and Jo Shannon. Brother to Johnathan and Lindsay M. Shannon. Mike attended the Purple Dragon Preschool, Border Star Elementary, Visitation Grade School, Rockhurst and Bishop Miege High Schools. He worked at his parent’s business, BB’s Lawnside Bar-B-Q, most of 21 years with the exception of 2003-2006 where he lived “the dream” on the Garden Island of Kauai. Mike was passionate about his music, sports, good food, and the company of friends. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road.
