The family of Michael W. Tolliver, is saddened to announce his passing on November 17, 2013, at age 48. He graduated from UMKC with a computer programming degree. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Chuck” Tolliver. He leaves to mourn his mother, Sharon Cornejo Snyder of the home; children, Anthony Tolliver and Tara Keightley; his grandchildren, Gwyneth Tolliver, Grayson Tolliver, Nathan Keightley and Dylan Keightley; sister, Kandy Day; brother, Cordell “Del” Story; step-brothers, Corey Cornejo and Raymond Cornejo; nephews, Nigal and Michael Story; and aunt, Carole Harris.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, at McGilley Midtown Chapel at 10:00 a.m. and funeral at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Michael Tolliver Memorial at Community America Credit Union, 4545 South Noland Road, Independence, MO 64055.
