Michael David Weaver passed away Monday, September 29, 2014. He was born December 14, 1976 in San Dimas, California. Michael graduated from Blue Valley Northwest High School, Overland Park, KS in 1996, and from the Johnson County Regional Police Academy in 2000. He was a law enforcement officer in Roeland Park and Fairway.
Michael is survived by his wife Courtney, mother Joann Weaver, father in-law Larry Bond and mother in-law Charlotte Bond, nephews Luke and Grant Weaver; grandmother Betty Rund, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Dennis Weaver and brother Chris Weaver, grandmother Kathryn Weaver, grandfathers Ernest Weaver and Paul Rund and cousin Robbie Casey.
Visitation and celebration of life will be Friday October 3, 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at McGilley State Line Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 4th 10:00a.m. at Church of the Nativity, 3800 West 119th St. Leawood, KS.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Great Plains SPCA Heros to Pets, American Cancer Society or the donor’s choice.
