"Mother, daughter, wife and Mimi", Michele Kats passed away on June 12, 2022 at the age of 53. Michele was passionate about everything she did in life, and her family will continue this legacy by living life to the fullest.
Michele completed her Bachelor's degree in Accounting at the University of Kansas. She started her career in retail, then transitioned to pharmaceutical sales, and later chose to use her degree in accounting to help small business clients and individuals. She never lost her flair for retail as she ran a small store as well.
Michele loved to travel, camp, and spend time in beautiful places with her family and friends. She was the ultimate hostess and enjoyed being surrounded by those she loved. Michele is survived by her husband, Tim, daughter Elyse, and daughter Lauren and her husband Austin and daughter Carolina. As well as her mother Carolyn and her husband Harry, her father Richard, and brother Rob and his wife Kristen and their sons Georic and Ryan. Lastly, her in-laws Sherlyn and Irene, and her sister in-law Candace.
A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Resurrection at 13720 Roe Avenue, Leawood, Kansas 66224 on Thursday, June 16 at 10 A.M in the Wesley Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rose Brooks Center at P.O. Box 320599, Kansas City, Missouri 64132 or to the Church of the Resurrection Hunger Ministry at 13720 Roe Avenue, Leawood, Kansas 66224. Memo to include "In Honor of Michele Kats".
