Mona was born on July 15, 1936 in Lusk, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John. She is survived by her sons, Greg Martin of San Diego, California and James Martin of Kansas City, Missouri and sister, Nancy Bower of New Braunfels, Texas.
Mona graduated from the University of Missouri in Kansas City with a degree in Elementary Education in 1960. She spent most of her adult life as a teacher in Grandview, Missouri and Little Rock, Arkansas.
John Martin and Mona were married at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Grandview, Missouri on June 4, 1960. They were married for 60 years. Much of their free time was spent volunteering in various capacities of the Episcopal Social Services.
Cremation… Private interment at the Garden of Memories, Mount Moriah Cemetery South, Kansas City, Missouri.
