Morey Pierce Palmer, 87, passed away peacefully at the NorthCare Hospice House on May 11, 2017. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 20 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Good Shepherd, 4957 NE Chouteau Dr, Kansas City, MO 64119.
Morey was born in Winnipeg, Canada and grew up in Council Bluffs, IA. He joined the U.S. Army and was a forward observer in the artillery, then he was a sergeant. Morey was a high school teacher, a banker and an employment counselor during his career. He was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Palmer.
Survivors include two children, Mark Palmer and Paula Palmer; a sister, Cammie (Chet) Liddle; two nieces and several cousins.
