

Nancy was born on June 6, 1946 in Greenwood, Mississippi. Around 1952, her family moved to Memphis Tennessee. They lived there until November 15, 1955, when they made the move to Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas. She graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1964 and then went on to graduate from Brian’s Business College.
In 1986, Nancy married Harvey Mushaney and they moved to Kansas City, Missouri, eventually moving to Independence in July 2002. She most recently resided in Blue Springs with her daughter Brenda Edwards and family.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Mushaney; parents Reverend ML Gammill and Dallas Kiihnl Gammill; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Nancy is survived by one sister by birth, Millie Anita Gammill Cain (husband Billy Wayne Cain) of Dover, Arkansas and two sisters by choice, Judy Garcia and Bonnie Harvill. She is also survived by her three daughters: Lisa (Michael) Berry, Brenda (Gary) Edwards, and Pamela Willis; eight grandchildren: Eric Berry, Andrea Berry, Annette (Tim) Roche, Tiffany Edwards, Soraya Edwards, Jazmyne Edwards, Jackson (Kalee) Daughtery, and Mariah Daughtery; two great-grandchildren: Joey Roche and Mya Townser; nephew, Tom Yankton Mingua (wife Marlo Mingua); and three great-nieces.
