Nancy Marie Rove, born May 25, 1931, passed away at New Mark Care Center on Nov. 1, 2020, at the age of 89. Nancy was born in Kansas City, MO to Charles Rove and Mary Danna and was the youngest of eight girls and two boys, who along with her mother and father, all preceded her in death.
As a young girl, Nancy enjoyed helping her father and two brothers run the rock quarry and farm. She loved working in her yard and was part owner of a Flower Shop with her sister, Mary. Nancy worked at Halls on the Plaza, then worked at Blue Ridge Bank for several years before retiring.
Nancy is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and two great great nephews.
Graveside services will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, 23rd & Cleveland, Kansas City, MO for immediate family only on Friday at 1:00 p.m.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Renee and the nurses and aides at New Mark for being there for Nancy during this trying time. Also to the St. Luke’s Homecare and Hospice people for being with her at the end when we couldn’t be and to Father Dave and Kathy at St. Bernadette Parish for always keeping Nancy on their prayer list.
