Nicholas Christopher Cesena, 17, Kansas City North, passed away September 26, 2015. The Mass of Christian Burial is 1:00PM Thursday, October 1st at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the Church with a rosary prayed at 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to St. Charles Parish or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Nicholas was born January 26, 1998 in North Kansas City, MO. He was a senior at Rockhurst High School where he participated in sports including football, lacrosse and wrestling. Nicholas loved to be in the ocean, where he taught himself to swim at the age of 3. You could always find Nicholas smiling. He loved his St. Charles and Rockhurst families.
Survivors include his parents, Christopher and Jeanelle Cesena; a brother, Michael Cesena; his grandparents, Helen Cesena, and Roy and Martha Mitchell; his uncles, John and Roy Mitchell; his cousins; and numerous other family members and friends.
Nicholas’ family wishes to express their gratitude for the many expressions of love and support they have received during this time.
