Ninfa (Baptiste) Coy, 72, of Gladstone, MO passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 PM on Friday, September 4, 2020 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42nd Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64116. A visitation will be held the evening of Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 6-8pm, with rosary prayer at 7:30pm, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO 64119. Burial will follow services in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, KS.
Ninfa was born on June 17, 1948 in Kansas City, KS. She graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1967. She worked for Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, MO for over 30 years and retired 2003. She was one of the first female workers employed at the Ford assembly plant and was an active member of UAW Local 249.
Ninfa is preceded in death by her mother, Rafaila Baptiste and her brother, Henry Baptiste. She leaves behind her loving husband of 44 years, Richard Coy; sons, Thomas Coy and Michael Coy; grandchildren, Cameron Hailey, Victoria Pascoe; Adleigh Coy, and Dylan Coy; great-grandchildren, Israel Pascoe and Azariah Pascoe; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins to cherish her memory.
