Norma Jean Wasko

Norma was born on October 1, 1946 in Gibsonville, North Carolina. She was the daughter of John and Mary (Ward) Younger. She was one of ten children, survived by four sisters, Betty Smith, Janie Brewer, Linda Huey and Debra Sloop and two brothers, Charles and Wayne Younger. She is also survived by her three children, Cher Hinojosa (Ruben), Melissa Bellis (Shawn) and Shaun (Megan) Wasko, ten grandchildren, Sergeant Austin, Preston, Addison and Landry Hinojosa, Savannah, Charlotte, Aurora and Eden Bellis, Andrew and Auggie Wasko, and two great-grandchildren, Aidan and Ava May Stoneking. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Roy Younger and sister, Anne Mae Campbell.

Norma was the absolute best person we have ever known. She deserved the best of everything life could offer her and we were incredibly blessed to have had her in our lives. She never met a person she didn't offer every ounce of kindness in her heart to. She was everyone's mother, grandmother and friend. Norma will always be our guardian angel watching over all of us.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Saturday, January 5, 2019 followed by a Celebration of Norma's Life at 5:00 pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
