Octavio Joseph Viveros, Jr., 56, passed away November 6, 2014. Octavio was born in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico and grew up in Roeland Park, KS. He attended St. Agnes Elementary School followed by Bishop Miege High School. Octavio continued his education at the University of Kansas where he majored in English and Political Science and later graduated from University of Kansas Law School in 1984 becoming a lifelong Jayhawk and proud member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. Octavio practiced law in Kansas City the majority of his career, while also continually involved in Kansas City civic and volunteer opportunities.
Octavio is survived by his children Kaylan, Caprice, OJ, Max and Vivien; his parents Esther and Octavio; siblings Esther, Mary, Sylvia, Theresa, Martin, Rosemary and Christy; the mothers of his children Pamela Growe and Stacey Lorence; his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Rosary at 9 a.m., visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5250 Mission Rd., Roeland Park, KS 66205.
