Owen Dale Roberts

Owen Dale Roberts, 51, Weatherby Lake, MO, passed December 24, 2014. Funeral services are 10:00 AM Monday, December 29th at the Vineyard Church, 12300 Arrowhead Trafficway, Kansas City, MO. Graveside services, with military honors, will be 4:00 PM Monday at the Hays Creek Cemetery, Vandalia, MO. A visitation is scheduled from 6-8 PM Sunday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Contributions are suggested to a fund established for the Roberts children.

Owen was born October 19, 1963 in Mexico, MO where he grew up. He had lived in the Kansas City area since 1992. Owen was owner of AAQ Mobile Trailer Service. He was especially proud of traveling twice to China to arrange the adoption of his three children. Owen was an avid fisherman and belonged to the Fishing Club of Weatherby Lake. He, and his father-in-law, Mike Potter, enjoyed both fishing and hunting together. Owen was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald and a brother, Brian.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Shawna; 3 children, Alexandra, Quinn and Alice Jane; mother, Hazel; brother, Fred; 2 sisters, Robin and Lorrie; and many loving nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
