Patricia was born in 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Mr. and Mrs. R.G. Parker. She attended Pinkerton Elementary and Southeast High School where she met her future husband, Kenneth O. Nye. Patricia attended the University of Missouri and was a member of Delta Gamma sorority, later transferring to Central Missouri State. She attended Menorah Medical where she became a Medical Technologist. Patricia and Kenneth were married in 1955 and lived in Prairie Village, Kansas until 1972. From 1972 to 1976, they lived in St. Louis before returning to Leawood, Kansas.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Kenneth, and two children, Jeffrey Stuart Nye, Ozark, MO and Leslie Beth Nye, Leawood, KS. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Crystal Ann Yakel and Lucia Marie Yakel, Leawood, KS. Patricia was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Leigh Whitney Nye, and grandson, Matthew Stuart Nye, Springfield, MO in 2010.
