Patricia Ann Register, 51, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away June 10, 2012 at Kansas City Hospice. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., with 6:00 p.m. Rosary and time of sharing, Wednesday, June 13, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at Rediscover Mental Health, 901 Independence Avenue, Lee’s Summit, Missouri 64086. Patty was born February 10, 1961 in Kansas City. She graduated from Central Missouri State University with a degree in graphic arts. She was a gifted crocheter and writer. She loved to garden, play poker and cook for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Clarence “Pete” Register. Patty is survived by her mother Dolores M. Register, brother David R. Register, and sister Sheryl S. Swyden, all of Kansas City; nieces Christine Stevens (Don) and Julie Barnes; uncle Bill Hutchin; great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. She will be greatly missed.
