Pat Spangler, 69 of Independence died Sunday, April 17, 2016 in North Care Hospice House. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 pm Friday, April 22, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Independence. Burial will be in Forest Hill-Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd, KCMO, where the rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm.
Pat was born January 23, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to William and Genevieve Nodder. Pat worked several jobs before retiring from Homeland Security after nine years as a file inspector. She was preceded in by death her parents and a nephew, Billy Nodder, and brother William J Nodder, Jr, and brother-in-law Jim Soliz. Pat’s survivors include her son Anthony Michael Spangler and wife Shannon; three grandchildren (with one on the way); sister, Mary Soliz; three nieces, Kimberly, Jeannie and Alicia.
