Paul L. Webb II

Reverend Doctor Paul L. Webb II, 78, died January 3rd, 2014 from stroke complications. Born October 20, 1935 in Huntington, WV, Paul attended school in America and Germany as a military dependent before graduating High School in Phoenix, AZ. From there, he attended Redlands University, CA and earned a B.A. In Psychology, and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA, earning a Masters of Divinity. While there, he met and married Evangeline Humann. After marriage, Paul achieved a Masters and PhD in history and became a father. Paul taught American History and Government at Bacone College, Muskogee, OK for sixteen years. He then served his community as an interim pastor, Director of Music, adjunct professor and freelance minister for wedding services. Paul also loved writing, acting and singing in Christian dramas.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Col. Paul L. Webb and Amanda Elizabeth Cunningham-Webb. Survivors include his brother, Lee Webb, his wife Evangeline and their beloved daughters Kathryn Elizabeth and Eric Peterson and Victoria Lea and Glen Dixon and his cherished granddaughters, Haleigh Peterson, Ashley Peterson and Liliana Dixon. Funeral services will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 3101 N.E. Vivion Rd., Kansas City, MO at 1:30 PM. A visitation will precede the service, beginning at Noon. Memorial donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church. Arrangements under the direction of McGilley Antioch Chapel, Kansas City.
