A graduate of Hickman Mills High School, Peter attended college at MU and graduated from Missouri State. He enjoyed a long, rewarding career in the food industry.
Peter was dearly loved by his sister Lori Carter, and brother Nick Carter; niece Cassandra Trave (Stephen); nephews Zachery and Nicholas Carter (Beth Liston, mother); great nephews Carter and Samuel Trave; cousins Stephanie Cassandras, Nick (Linda), George and Jimmy Daskaleas (Tammy); goddaughter Demia Daskaleas; and second cousins Athena and Aristotle Daskaleas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary Carter; aunt Sophia Daskaleas; and cousin Demitri Daskaleas.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17 from 6-8 pm with Trisagion at 7 p.m.; and a Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, November 18 at 11am at Mount Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Chiefs, MU and Royals apparel encouraged. Memorial donations in honor of Peter may be made to the Children’s Spot at St. Luke’s, 4333 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, MO 64111.
